Tom Dokken recommend a vest made of thin neoprene which that at 3 mm, because a thinner west stretches more easily than a thick west. The point of using the vest is of course to keep the dog warm, and then west to sit close to the body, so there is no air space between the dog's body and the Dog Vest.
